What to expect
Nothing here will catch you out.
Come as you are. You will not be asked to stand up, introduce yourself, sing anything you don’t want to sing or give anything. Here is exactly how a Sunday goes.
Arriving
Come about ten minutes before the start if you can. Someone from our Host Team will be at the door on Lee High Road — say it is your first time and they will take it from there.
Finding a seat
Sit wherever you like. Nobody will ask you to stand up, introduce yourself or fill anything in. If you would rather sit at the back and watch, that is completely fine.
Children
Stronger Tots runs every Sunday for ages 0–4. Stronger Kids runs in the second service for ages 3–11, except on the fifth Sunday of the month. You are welcome to stay with your child for as long as you want to.
The service
Sung worship, notices, prayer, and a talk from the Bible. It runs for around ninety minutes.
Afterwards
There is tea and coffee after the second service and plenty of people stay to chat. Stay as long or as short a time as suits you.

Routes 261, 273 and 321 stop on Lee High Road.

Street parking is available on surrounding roads.

Bringing children
Your children are welcome, and they are looked after properly.
Stronger Tots is a crèche for ages 0–4 and runs every Sunday. Stronger Kids is for ages 3–11 and runs during the second service, except on the fifth Sunday of the month.
Every member of our children’s team is DBS checked and safeguarding trained, and children are signed in and out by a parent or carer. You are welcome to stay with your child for as long as you want to — nobody will rush you.

The things people usually want to ask.
What should I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable in. You will see suits and you will see trainers, often in the same row. There is no dress code.
What actually happens in a service?
We sing together, someone leads us in prayer, there are a few notices, and then one of our pastors or a guest speaker teaches from the Bible. You are welcome to join in with as much or as little as you like.
How long is the service?
Around ninety minutes. If you need to slip out early, that is absolutely fine and nobody will mind.
Do I need to give money?
No. There is an opportunity to give during the service, and plenty of people pass it by. Giving is something our church family does to support the work here — it is not a ticket price and there is no pressure on a visitor.
What about my children?

Street parking is available on the surrounding roads. Please check the local restrictions before you leave your car.
Is the building accessible?
There is step-free access at the main entrance. If you have a specific access need, do get in touch before you come and we will make sure everything is ready.
I’m not a Christian. Am I still welcome?
Yes, genuinely. Plenty of people come along for a long time before they work out what they think, and some never come to the same conclusions we have. You will not be singled out, pressured or asked to sign up to anything.
Can I watch online first?
Of course. Our second service is streamed on YouTube every Sunday, and every past sermon is on this site. Watching first is a completely normal way to start.
